CONSIDER CONTRACTING WITH A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

Landscape architecture is a diverse profession that overlaps the architecture, engineering and environmental consulting industry. Landscape architects plan and design the development or conservation of land areas. Landscape architects apply their knowledge of land characteristics to site buildings and infrastructures, determine the appropriate uses of land areas and design site-specific improvements. Many federal projects are procured under architecture, engineering or environmental consulting services that could also be led by landscape architecture firms.
